      One of Hollwyood's top creator/writers/show runners, it is a great pleasure for us to welcome one of our favorite talents back to our stages after a long absence. Ron's extensive career includes executive producer of Caprica, the incredible Battlestar Galactica series, Carnivale, co-executive producer of Roswell and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and co-producer of Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a writer Ron contributed scores of the best loved series of all the shows he has worked on and his film work includes Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Mission Impossible II. His new project is called 17th Precinct.

Livingston, the lionfish that lived in Jean-Luc Picard's ready room aquarium in Star Trek: The Next Generation, is named after him!       Ben Veeren
      (Commander Edward La Forge, father of Geordi in the TNG Episode "Interface")
      Mr. Vereen is a veteran of film, television, and the Broadway theatre, including winning a Tony Award for Pippin and of course starring in the ground-breaking 1977 TV mini-series Roots with LeVar Burton. Other film work includes Funny Lady and All That Jazz, as well as the TV series Tenspeed and Brown Shoe. For us it is truly an honor to have Mr. Vereen with us in his first convention appearance!

      David Gerrold
      Writer of the classic Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles", he created the story for "The Cloud Minders" and scripted an un-credited rewrite of "I, Mudd". David has also written two best selling nonfiction Star Trek books and two Trek novels. He also wrote two episodes of animated Star Trek series and helped develop Star Trek: The Next Generation and served as a story editor during season one. Of course outside of Star Trek David is a prolific and popular writer as well. David will be contributing to our program of events in several ways, including his always popular writing workshops.

      Und nun sind auch die Preise für Photos und Autogramme online. Soweit bin ich zufrieden, Preise sind ansich gleich geblieben, nur Photo von Shatner ist gestiegen um $10. Dafür ist Bakula weniger teuer als ich befürchtet habe. :) Ist zwar laut HP nichts limitiert, bestelle aber wohl doch erstmal 2x Bakula vor und später noch eins von Shatner, hier im wesentlichen wegen ner niedrigen Nummer.

      Jacqueline is excited to be back in Vegas for her second Official Star Trek Convention. At the Q & A, she'll perform music from her debut ep, This I Heard (songs & melodies, part 1), and her upcoming release (facebook.com/thisiheard). She'll also talk about her upcoming ITVS futurestates mini-feature, Advantageous. CDs and photos will be available at her signing table where she looks forward to seeing fan friends again.

      Tolle Tage, interessante Panels, wie immer gute Fotos und das beste ist diesmal bei den Autogrammen:
      Creation hat dieses Jahr Widmungen im großen Stil erlaubt. Es gab nur zwei Ausnahmen: Bill Shatner (klar, der schreibt ja nie welche) und die 13 Leute, die im Goldticket inbegriffen waren, da die eh genug Autogramme schreiben mussten. Sonst haben alle Stars Widmungen gegeben. Sogar bei Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks und Kate Mulgrew standen die Helfer in der Schlange und haben auf die kleinen gelben Haftnotizzettel die Namen für die Widmung draufgeschrieben.
      Wenn ich da an letztes Jahr denke, wo es nur im Vendors Room die ein oder andere Widmung gab, fantastische Entwicklung!
